With the launch of the new CISPE Sovereign Cloud Committee, an important step was taken towards a sovereign, secure, and competitive European cloud ecosystem. The goal is to establish clear frameworks for transparency, fairness, and freedom of choice in the cloud market \u2013 fully in line with Europe\u2019s vision of digital sovereignty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Call for independent cloud infrastructure<\/h2>\n

Alexander Windbichler, CEO of Anexia and CISPE board member<\/a>, emphasized the importance of open technologies and independent European infrastructure providers during the event. Only in this way can Europe free itself from long-term dependence on non-European cloud services and establish its own digital standards.<\/p>\n
