What this role is about and who we are looking for
You’re a Linux enthusiast, passionate about keeping systems running smoothly, and eager to grow in a modern operations environment? Then you’ve come to the right place! Your Tasks
- Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of netcup’s Linux server landscape
- Support for deployments, rollouts, and change processes
- Analysis and resolution of incidents in day-to-day operations
- Assistance in automating recurring tasks (e.g., using Ansible or Bash)
- Contribution to improving monitoring, stability, and performance
- Close collaboration with experienced colleagues from the infrastructure and web hosting teams
Your Profile
- Solid Linux skills (Debian / Ubuntu or similar distributions)
- Basic understanding of virtualization and hosting (e.g., KVM, Plesk)
- Initial experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Interest in automation solutions (e.g., Ansible)
- Reliable and structured work approach, eagerness to learn, and strong team spirit
- Excellent German and good English skills
