DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) - Focus Observability

In a small team, you take on a wide variety of tasks to help expand, operate and improve our Prometheus-based monitoring infrastructure. You follow best practices and help integrate existing systems and software. Using GitOps and CI/CD you create dashboards, design alerts and make sure that teams and departments gain meaningful insights and metrics.

#Profile

Our Prometheus-based monitoring solution is already deployed in most of our data centers worldwide and is used by many of our engineering teams including our k8s-as-a-Service offering. As more teams look to leverage this monitoring solution, you will focus on maintaining and operating the growing system and ensure its stability and continuous improvement. In cooperation with your team you help integrate existing systems and software or facilitate a transition from legacy solutions. Together with our committed Operations teams you create dashboards and alerts to provide deep insight into the infrastructure and the health of our services.

#Wanted

  • Good knowledge of Prometheus, its ecosystem and related technologies (Thanos, Cortex/Mimir, Grafana, etc.)
  • You know your way around Linux. Ideally you have prior experience as Linux Systems Administrator/Engineer
  • Knowledge of PromQL and Alerting in a Prometheus-based environment
  • Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible) is an advantage
  • Team player with a solution-oriented approach

  • Good communication skills as well as an independent and accurate way of working

  • Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
