In addition to providing comprehensive support to the Group’s DPO, the core task of the Privacy & Data Protection Manager is to handle the relevant data protection processes and statutory data protection obligations broadly and in depth, and thereby facilitate the operational implementation of these data protection requirements.

#Profile

As “Privacy & Data Protection Manager” in the Quality, Risk, & Compliance (QRC) team, you’ll support and monitor the operating companies and departments in their implementation of Anexia’s uniform data protection processes. As such, you’ll be responsible for the internal rules and regulations and the creation of group-wide data protection guidelines. Based on this, you’ll develop and gradually implement an appropriate target group-oriented training/awareness program in coordination with the HR department. You’ll act as the liaison person for the Group’s data protection management team and the operational units. You’ll also be the contact person for all employees and in addition advise existing customers and those looking to become customers on relevant data protection issues. Together with your colleagues in the QRC department, you’ll regularly review the effectiveness and regulations-compliant implementation of the existing management systems through internal audits and provide support for external and certification-relevant audits. You’ll be an organizational whizz, who takes a structured approach to their work and works well independently. You’ll also boast strong communication and presentation skills and be able to work well and flexibly as part of a team.

#Wanted

  • Data protection personal certification (e.g. DSB-TÜV or similar) a must
  • Sound knowledge of GDPR, the German Data Protection Act (DSG), German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), German Telecommunications Act (TKG)
  • Experience working in a data protection-related position desirable
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO 2700x, EuroPriSe) desirable
  • Experience auditing management systems an advantage
  • System knowledge of or experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) an advantage
  • Confident and assertive personality
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English
