#Profile

As a Senior Network Engineer at Anexia, you will be responsible for the further development of our global network, consisting of the Anexia Backbone Europe and over 90 locations worldwide. The team, consisting of network architects, network, and software engineers, is responsible for technology and product selection, development, and prototyping of new network-related services as well as automation and monitoring of the network infrastructure of the entire Anexia group.

According to your preferences, you work independently and project-based on the development, improvement, and futureproofing of the various components of our network stack. This includes core network, automation workflows, network-related services (e.g., DDoS mitigation, RPKI) as well as monitoring and alerting. You define and document standards for network setups or workflows and are the contact person for complex tasks or troubleshooting.

Even if we are not always at the same location, communication is very important to us. We keep in touch via our voice channel, our internal chat platform and video calls.

#Wanted

• Solid and proven network expertise, several years of professional experience in the service provider environment
• Routine in dealing with automation, its design and implementation
• Knowledge of feature set and troubleshooting capabilities on network platforms from Juniper, Arista, Cisco, and others.
• Routing (BGP, ISIS), control plane (RSVP, EVPN) and related data plane technologies (Legacy IP, IPv6, MPLS, VXLAN) are familiar to you
• Programming languages such as Python, Go, Ansible and git are advantageous
• You are familiar with Linux system tools and common monitoring tools
• Participation in on-call duty
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
