#Profile

As Software Engineer – Cloud Services you will focus on the development and provision of secure services with a high level of availability in the Anexia Cloud ecosystem. Your work in our team will particularly focus on services like CloudDNS and Baremetal Provisioning, as you help to develop the backend services based on Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
In the CloudDNS project you will help shape the future of our hosted DNS services and enable our customers to rely on us in all matters related to DNS. Relevant here are both correct and rapid distribution of data, the recording of fine-grained statistics, and the provision of best performance for exacting demands. 
Baremetal Provisioning constitutes the realization of a part of our vision of an automatic data centre. The focus here is the fully automated commissioning of servers and the mapping of the lifecycle of our hardware. An additional challenge in this context are our more than 90 PoPs, on which this project will form a central component of our infrastructure in the future. We work in a dispersed and agile manner, relying on individual responsibility and ensuring the quality of our services through sophisticated CI pipelines and peer reviews.

#Wanted

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or relevant professional experience
• Very good knowledge of Python
• Experience with Linux, as well as an understanding of the interaction between networks, operating systems, and software
• Skilled in the use of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Knowledge in the use of automation tools is an advantage (Ansible)
• Ability to work work independently and reliably, a strong customer and service focus, and a high level of quality awareness
• Enthusiasm and a high motivation to learn new technologies
• Very good knowledge of English, (knowledge of German is an advantage)
