HTL Mössingerstraße has a new, state-of-the-art laboratory starting at the 2024/25 school year. The ANX.labs enables more than 1,000 students at the technical school in Klagenfurt to receive individual lessons in the basics of electronics and technical informatics.

Teachers can put together independent work islands to suit their teaching needs. “Nothing static, but everything flexible,” says Burkhard Grabner, who implemented the project with his teaching colleague Bernhard Wurnitsch. Components, tools, measuring devices, laboratory power supplies etc. are selected and combined specifically for each teaching unit. This enables students to work in groups on specific solutions to various problems in the fields of biomedical and health technology, electronics and technical informatics as well as electrical engineering.
