In the current debate on Europe’s digital sovereignty, Alexander Windbichler, CEO of Anexia, is positioning himself as a clear voice for greater independence. As part of a round-up by the trade publication Report, he was asked – along with other industry representatives – for his assessment. Windbichler calls for fair framework conditions, criticizes one-sided dependencies on US corporations, and speaks out strongly against so-called kill switches that could endanger European infrastructure. For him, digital sovereignty does not mean isolation, but equality in global competition.
