#Profile

 

  • Technical leadership in the architecture, design, and strategic evolution of highly available, scalable, and secure Kubernetes environments

  • Definition and enforcement of architecture standards, platform guidelines, and best practices

  • Ownership of cluster topologies as well as network, security, and storage architectures

  • Evaluation, selection, and introduction of Kubernetes ecosystem tools and platform components

  • Coaching and technical guidance of DevOps and Platform Engineering teams

  • Establishment and continuous improvement of GitOps and Platform Engineering approaches

  • Responsibility for technical documentation at architecture and decision-making level

  • Active evaluation of new technologies, trends, and risks in the cloud-native ecosystem and derivation of strategic recommendations

 

#Wanted

  • Several years of experience designing and owning Kubernetes architectures in production-critical environments

  • Previous experience in technical leadership roles or as a Lead Architect is a strong advantage

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, scaling strategies, and cluster lifecycle management

  • Strong knowledge of modern GitOps and CI/CD architectures

  • Excellent Linux skills and solid experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana)

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies (Terraform, Ansible)

  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, high-availability, and resilience requirements

  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to developers, management, and stakeholders

  • Cloud certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect)

  • Very good German and English skills
