Team Lead Accounts Payable (m/f/d)

You’ll take on a leadership role within a well-established finance team, bring enthusiasm for digitalization and automation to the table, and enjoy coming up with new ideas. With your solution-oriented approach and drive, you’ll work with your team to set new standards in accounts payable.

#Profile

  • Technical and personnel management responsibility for the 10-member accounts payable team
  • Responsibility for the timely processing of incoming invoices, adherence to payment deadlines, and proactive management of open items
  • Coordination and execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks in the accounts payable department
  • Continuous optimization of processes and workflows, with a clear focus on digitization and automation
  • Active collaboration with the Purchasing, Financial Accounting, and Treasury departments, as well as serving as the central point of contact for tax and accounting inquiries

#Wanted

  • Completed commercial education (HAK, HAS, or certified bookkeeper exam) – additional qualifications such as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or comparable further training are a plus
  • Several years of professional experience in accounts payable, ideally with initial leadership experience
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards under UGB and UStG 
  • Experience in process optimisation and documentation
  • Precise, structured, and independent working style
  • Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency, both written and spoken
