Software Developer PHP – Network Automation (m/f/d)

#Profile

Our cloud management platform “Anexia Engine” is the linchpin for the automation of our network. This in turn forms the basis for provisioning and operating our managed and cloud services. You will work in the interdisciplinary Network Engineering team and work together but also independently on complex tasks relating to the automation of our network-based services.

You can imagine working in one or more of the following areas and ideally have experience in operating networks:
 
Frontend development
  • On the Anexia Engine, with a special focus on the network-centric services
Backend development
  • Management and self-service deployment of network resources (IP space, VLANs, VXLAN, VRF resources) for our more than 100 locations worldwide
  • Switchport automation
  • Templating, rendering and deployment of the configuration of network components in a multi-vendor environment (e.g. Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, etc.)
Further development
  • Design and requirements engineering for new features in collaboration with various business stakeholders and our Network Operations, Network Delivery and Network Security teams

#Wanted

  • Experience with PHP development and object-oriented programming (OOP)

  •  

    Know-how in dealing with SQL and ORMs
  • Solid handling of REST APIs and JSON
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Laravel and Phalcon is an advantage
  • Overview of the structure and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in connection with software tests and/or deployment logic
  • Understanding technical contexts is easy for you
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
