System Automation Engineer - Observability (m/f/d)

As Automation Engineer - Observability you are responsible for our Prometheus based Observability Platform. You will develop this platform further and allow other teams to adapt their processes to this platform. Furthermore, you will support the team in the maintenance and further development of the Anexia Automation Platform based on Ansible and always keep an eye on the overall concept. 

#Profile

Our Prometheus-based Observability Platform complements our Automation Platform and together they are designed to facilitate the provision and maintenance of services within Anexia. Your task is the further development and maintenance of the Prometheus-based monitoring and alerting infrastructure. This also includes the integration of existing systems and, together with the specialist teams, the creation of dashboards and alerts to provide a deep insight into the infrastructure and services. In addition, you will support the further development of the Automation Platform (Ansible, AWX, Gitlab, Vault) and ensure the integration of the platforms.

#Wanted

  • You have several years of experience as a system engineer and experience with monitoring/observability systems. You know the difference between a histogram and a heatmap, and know how to implement alerts so that they have the best possible benefit.
  • Experience with Linux automation and the usual scripting languages
  • Experience with Prometheus and PromQL is an advantage
  • You are a team player, work independently and are solution-oriented
  • Good communication skills in English (and German).
